The Third Meeting of the First Council of Tianfu Yongxing Laboratory Is Held

On November 30, 2024, Tianfu Yongxing Laboratory (hereinafter referred to as "the Laboratory") successfully held the third meeting of the first council in Chengdu. Chen Lizhang, Deputy Secretary of the Sichuan Tianfu New Area Party Working Committee, Director of the Sichuan Tianfu New Area Administrative Committee and Chairman of the Council; Zhang Yuanhang, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Director of the Laboratory; He Kebin, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Director of the Academic Committee of the Laboratory, as well as relevant responsible persons from other member units of the Council and from the Laboratory attended the meeting. The meeting was moderated by Peng Tianyu, a member of the Sichuan Tianfu New Area Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Sichuan Tianfu New Area Administrative Committee. 

The meeting reviewed the Laboratory's Work Summary of Year 2024, Work Plan for Year 2025, the Regulations of Tianfu Yongxing Laboratory (Revision), the Regulations of the Council, the evaluation materials for the Tianfu Yongxing Laboratory's "In-Orbit" Operation, change of the Laboratory’s legal representative, the Laboratory's final accounts of Year 2023, the execution of Year 2024’s budget, and Year 2025's budget plan. 

At this meeting, Council Chairman Chen Lizhang delivered a summary speech and put forward several opinions and suggestions. He noted that since the Laboratory began its substantive operations, it has made significant achievements in scientific and technological innovation, achievement transformation, and talent aggregation. Looking ahead, the Laboratory is expected to take more practical measures to advance its development, take greater responsibility in serving the overall situation, contribute more achievements to empower the industry, adopt better models for talent recruitment, and foster a more dynamic mechanism. At the same time, the Laboratory continues to optimize its institutional and operational mechanisms, strengthens the construction of permanent park facilities for the future, actively undertakes projects related to Chinese strategic needs, supports local industrial development, and contributes to the economic and social development of the entire province and even the western region.
