Zhou Xiaoxin, an Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Visits Tianfu Yongxing Laboratory to Offer Guidance

On August 8, Zhou Xiaoxin, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Honorary President of China Electric Power Research Institute, visited Tianfu Yongxing Laboratory (hereinafter referred to as "the laboratory") for an insightful tour and guidance. 

Liu Wanhua, Deputy Director of the laboratory, welcomed Academician Zhou Xiaoxin and accompanied him on a tour of the exhibition hall. Liu provided a detailed overview of the laboratory's research framework and scientific progress, highlighting its commitment to technological innovation and conversion of scientific and technological achievements based on the principles of "international frontier, national leadership, Sichuan specific, and low-carbon industry". The laboratory aims to create a seamless innovation chain of "basic research-technological breakthrough-industrial transformation", promoting high-quality growth in the green low-carbon sector. 

Academician Zhou commended the laboratory's research framework and conversion of scientific and technological achievements. He noted that its key focus areas align well with practical applications, showcasing clear advantages. He also reflected on the mindset needed in research, stating that viewing it as a task may feel passive, while approaching it as a passion encourages proactive engagement. This insight provides valuable food for thought to both current and aspiring researchers.
