Tianfu Yongxing Laboratory Organizes Expert Panel on Strategic Development Planning

On June 18, 2022, Tianfu Yongxing Laboratory (hereinafter referred to as "the Laboratory") hosted an expert panel for the compilation of Strategic Development Planning of Tianfu Yongxing Laboratory (2022-2030) through video links. Seventeen influential experts and scholars in relevant fields of carbon neutrality attended the activity, offering their advice for the strategic development planning of the Laboratory. He Kebin, Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE) Academician and Director of the Academic Committee of the Laboratory, presided over the activity.

Following that, Dr. Lyu Lanchun of the Tianfu Yongxing Laboratory Special Work Team made a report on the exposure draft of the Strategic Development Planning of Tianfu Yongxing Laboratory (2022-2030) from eight aspects. The panel highly commended the strategic decision and deployment of the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee and the People's Government of Sichuan Province in building the Laboratory. Also, the experts fully recognized the goals and positioning in its strategic development planning, which fulfills the development strategy of China for carbon neutrality technological innovation and development needs of Sichuan Province in green and low-carbon development. They later made constructive advice for the Laboratory's goals and positioning, research directions, mechanism and system, talent and team, and other aspects. According to them, the Laboratory is expected to focus on carbon neutrality and key areas, promote interdisciplinary integration, make key breakthroughs in core technologies, achieve innovation in industrial coordination, and improve the system and mechanism, thus achieving China's technologies, plans, standards, and paths for carbon neutrality.
